About Me
Welcome! I’m Sabine Bou Malhab, an early childhood education consultant passionate about helping families and educators rethink the way children learn and grow. With a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and years of experience in diverse educational and creative settings, I offer research-based, practical guidance that helps families and programs create confident, caring, and effective learning environments.
My Journey
My journey began as a classroom teacher deeply inspired by child development research and the possibilities of innovative education. Early on, I faced the challenge of translating inspiring theories into practical, everyday classroom experiences. Motivated by this, I pursued professional training in a variety of alternative approaches to enrich my practice—approaches I continue to explore and integrate, ensuring my work remains rooted in both evidence and experimentation.
Founding my own art and play studio was a pivotal moment where I witnessed the transformative power of play, child-led exploration, and thoughtfully designed environments. This experience naturally led me to work more directly with parents, educators, and early childhood programs—where I found deep fulfillment in guiding adults to better understand children’s development and learning, and to shift away from traditional methods toward more progressive, research-informed, and developmentally appropriate practices.
What I Believe
I believe that every child deserves to be seen and respected as a capable, creative learner with their own unique skills, potential, and needs. Learning becomes truly meaningful when it happens through play, creativity, and real connection—helping children grow not only academically but also emotionally and socially.
Real change in education happens when we look at the whole picture—the child’s environment, culture, and community—all working together to support their growth. By using thoughtful, research-backed approaches tailored to each child and their context, we can help children become joyful, independent learners ready to thrive in a constantly changing world.
